Recent news reports have mentioned the voter files maintained by each of
the major national parties. Trump recently signed up to use the GOP file;
Sanders' staff viewed Clinton's notes about the Dem file.

Each of the parties cleans up the file with additional data and enhances
the file with all sorts of consumer databases so they can correlate, for
instance, the ordering of Honeybaked Hams with voting Republican (I don't
know if that is still a correlation, but I read about 20 years ago).
