Today I filed a complaint with the FEC against Hillary for America due to
the extensive investigation Project Veritas Action Fund conducted into its
activities. These are the same activities now being reported by CNN
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz7GaQYJ3zA> and addressed by the White
House <https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4626016/project-veritas-videos> just
today.
In it, I detail evidence of coordination passing the FECA statutory
threshold for criminal charges. Specifically, the complaint includes
transcripts, e-mails, and documents produced by third-party groups
coordinated with HFA and the DNC in an illegal manner. This includes, in
their own words, "aggressive birddogging" at Trump rallies, numerous
indicia of third-party groups seeking permission or clearance from HFA or
the DNC for electoral messaging, and a host of unfortunate violations of
the FEC's coordination standards.
The findings here are noteworthy. The HFA, DNC, Democracy Partners, Foval
Group, Americans United for change, Priorities USA, Correct the Record, and
others have had a secretive network of political operations violating the
FECA for some time. The evasion of federal election law standards by
Democratic operatives should shock the conscience of any fair-minded
viewer.
The link below includes the complaint and exhibits supporting its
allegations. I know a few members of this list summarily dismiss Project
Veritas Action's work, but considering we've seen two resignations,
mainstream media coverage of these reports, and the White House addressing
it today, it may just warrant a second look. Let's all work to get over
our implicit biases.
Happy Debate Night.
