[EL] Pillar of Law Institute Wins Cannabis Contribution Suit

Today, the Pillar of Law Institute won summary judgment against an Illinois
law banning medical marijuana groups from making political contributions
and candidates from accepting them.  Speculation and fear about groups with
innovative and controversial ideas is never a sufficient basis to prohibit
them from participating in the political process.
