[EL] Election Law Dinner Friday

            The election law dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. next Friday night at Brasserie Jo<https://www.colonnadehotel.com/brasserie-jo>, 120 Huntington Avenue, Boston.  I told the restaurant I would give them a final count tomorrow (Monday) night.  Presently, the enrolled number is two less than the maximum of the range I gave them.

            If you are already enrolled, you do not need to contact me unless you wish to change your status (cancel or add to your party).  If you are not enrolled but would like to be, please write me asap and not later than 8:00 p.m. Eastern / 5:00 Pacific on Monday.  I cannot guarantee anything if you are not among the next two to sign up, but will try to get you in, even if you write me later in the week.  I'll be able to do so to the extent there are cancellations or the restaurant is flexible.

            If you are enrolled and at any time find you are unable to make it, PLEASE let me know right away, out of consideration for others.  If you are enrolled and do not show up, you may have to reimburse me for a meal you do not eat, depending on the restaurant's policy.

            Brasserie Jo is attested to by Charles Stewart, and Charles' name, as Dickens said of Scrooge's, is "good upon 'Change for anything he [chooses] to put his hand to."  (I do not suggest any other similarity between Charles' and Scrooge's characters, at least not before Scrooge received certain visitors all of an evening.)

            I believe this will be the last time I need to burden the general listserv on this topic.  Until next year, that is.
