[EL] Query re: ballot access laws and legal definition of political parties outside of the USA

Hi all--

I've been hunting for resources on both topics but have been unsuccessful.
Perhaps I'm using the wrong search terms.  In any event, I'd appreciate
leads to sites or sources where one can find info on 1) national
restrictions on party and candidate access to ballots and their legal
definition of a political party for the purposes of ballot access and
eligibility for state funding or campaign contributions.
