Hi Rick, hope all is well.



Reports of my retirement are premature. I am stepping back from my role as Senior Director of the Voting Rights and Redistricting program at the Campaign Legal Center, but I am not going to retire or stop my affiliation with CLC. I will continue to play a number of roles in voting rights or redistricting ( both at CLC and in my solo private practice), but not full-time.

When CLC decided to announce the search for my position, we made the decision to combine it with the General Counsel title. Those GC responsibilities (not full time in themselves) are now covered by Larry Noble , who is leaving to work on writing a book. So the advertised position is actually a combination of my position and the General Counsel responsibilities.

It might help if you could post this on the Election Law blog to clear up any confusion. Thanks, and best wishes, Gerry Hebert
