I have a database of a subset of these cases involving litigation over election rules, from 1996-2016 and described here:
https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3001257

One of the early footnotes leads directly to the database, which I am in the process of updating through 2018.

Hi, folks. Has anyone compiled a database of “election law cases” – i.e., the corpus of cases that might plausibly be considered to fall within the domain of our field? I am doing some very modest empirical analysis of decisional trends, and an existing compilation could save me some work. Even a partial compilation would be a real time-saver; completeness is less important to me than heft. Please let me know privately if you have such a database and would be willing to share it, or know of one controlled by someone else. Thanks!

Jim
