[EL] Drive thru/drive up/curbside voting models?

Fairfax County, Virginia used to do this (and may still) for voters with
limited mobility. The process involved polling place officials carrying a
DRE machine out of the polling place and handing it to the voter in the
vehicle, then carrying the machine back to the polling place. There's more
to it, but that's the basic procedure.

If anyone's wondering: to my knowledge, no voter ever drove off with a DRE
machine.
