Some items of interest out of the Volunteer State.


  1.  Last week, the Sixth Circuit affirmed a district court dismissal<https://electionlawblog.org/?p=107334> of a multi-faceted challenge to voting machines in Shelby County, Tennessee, concluding in a brief opinion that the Shelby Advocates for Valid Elections lacked standing (per curiam; Judges Julia Gibbons, Jeffrey Sutton, and Eric Murphy on the panel):  https://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/tn-voting.pdf.  I believe my friend and mentor Steve Mulroy, who is on this listserv, was involved and may have more to say at some point than I do now.


  1.
