For over 30 years, the Law and Political Process Study Group has organized panels at the APSA annual meetings bringing together political scientists, law professors, and others to discuss election law issues and related topics. Dan Lowenstein started the group, and Bruce Cain and I now chair it. The group functions as a “related group” under APSA’s rules and gets assigned one or more panels at the APSA annual meeting depending on attendance at events.

Recently, the APSA changed the rules for related groups. One of those changes requires each group to have at least 35 APSA members sign up to be a member of the group. (Eventually I believe they will charge a nominal fee like $1 to sign up to be a related group member.) We need at least 35 signups from those who are APSA members.

If you are an APSA member, we would appreciate if you would sign up here as a Law and Political Process Study Group member.

Thanks for your consideration!
