This morning, I launched DemocracyDocket.com:<https://www.democracydocket.com/> a new tool in the fight against Republican voter suppression. The website features the latest in voting rights and redistricting litigation and shares my commentary on the greatest obstacles to casting a ballot.

This project comes at a critical time. The paralyzingly long lines in Texas<https://twitter.com/marceelias/status/1235061825504342016?s=20> that we saw on Tuesday was only a glimpse into the Republicans’ overall voter suppression strategy planned for November. The RNC and Trump campaign have already announced that they will spend more than $10 million<https://www.democracydocket.com/2020/03/gop-voter-suppression/> during the 2020 election cycle to combat voting rights lawsuits in response to voting rights lawsuits<https://email.perkinscoie.com/e/nk6fpn5ilanvca/09e9a81c-49a0-4282-83d1-663b0258a5bd> my firm and I filed on behalf of the Democratic Party and other progressive groups.

Democracy Docket<https://www.democracydocket.com/> will serve as a bulwark against this regressive agenda and will play a central role in detecting, highlighting and combating suppressive practices impacting the 2020 election.

We are already litigating in 14 different states and plan to file even more lawsuits leading up to election day.
