Next Thursday, June 24 from 12-1pm, Issue One will be joining with Freedom

Center for Civil and Human Rights <https://www.civilandhumanrights.org/> to
host the second episode of our monthly Reimagining American Democracy
<https://reimaginingdemocracy.org/> speaker series. In this episode, journalist
and former CNN correspondent Jeanne Meserve will moderate a conversation on
voting reform and election administration, addressing the state-level
policy shifts we've seen since the fall. More details on the event are

First, a panel featuring Kentucky Secretary of State Michael G. Adams and
Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows will look at the role of a
Secretary of State, what a bipartisan voting law looks like in 2021, and
what the increasing politicization of election administration means for the
future of our democracy.
A second panel will focus on organizations that are working to expand
democracy to a broader range of communities and elevate minority voices.
This conversation will feature President of The Andrew Goodman
