[EL] How many states audited their elections in 2020?

Verified Voting consolidates state-by-state audit laws, regulations and procedures <https://verifiedvoting.org/auditlaws/> (including DC but not including the five territories).

In addition to state-level audits, many counties have conducted audits above and beyond what is required by state law. I don’t know of an up-to-date catalog of these.

Verified Voting also has a variety of resources <https://verifiedvoting.org/audits/auditfaq/> explaining the different types of audits and answering other common questions.

Looking at NCSL's doc<https://www.ncsl.org/research/elections-and-campaigns/post-election-audits635926066.aspx <https://www.ncsl.org/research/elections-and-campaigns/post-election-audits635926066.aspx>> on audits and RLAs, I counted about 40+ states which require a "traditional" post-election audit, and/or an RLA.
