The election law list, managed by Dan Lowenstein and Rick Hasen, is
moving servers to Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. You are getting
this message because you were subscribed to the old election-law list
housed at Chicago-Kent. If you do not wish to be subscribed to this new
list, follow the directions below. If you wish to remain subscribed,
you do not need to take any action. This e-mail contains important
information about posting and other list mechanics.

1. To post messages, send your message to

election-law@majordomo.lls.edu

Please do not post new messages to the chicagokent.kentlaw.edu address.
Some old messages may still come through at this address, but feel free
to repost any messages that have not come through to the new address.

2. To unsubscribe, subscribe, read the archives of the list, or see an
e-mail listing of the members of the group, follow the instructions
listed at this url:

http://majordomo.lls.edu/cgi-bin/lwgate/ELECTION-LAW_GL/

Subscription approval requests will be forwarded to Dan Lowenstein and
Rick Hasen for approval. As with the old list, approval is not
necessary to post messages.

3. List messages are not private. Anyone with web access will be able
to read posted messages. Archives of messages posted beginning today
will be accessible from the URL listed above. We will try to arrange to
have the older Chicago-Kent archives sent to this URL as well.

4. If you are having problems using the list or accessing any of its
functions, please send a private message to rick.hasen@lls.edu. Do not
post those problems to the entire list.

5. Please do post information and participate in discussions on the new
list over the next few days. We want to make sure that a number of
people can post to the list (and receive posts) without problems.

6. Thanks for your patience. We believe that the new system will be
more reliable and customer-friendly for all of us.

Rick and Dan
