Subject: felon and ex-felon disenfranchisement

I am looking for specific, state-by-state, data on the laws governing both
felon and ex-felon disenfranchisement from approximately the 1960s to the
present.  I need to know which states allow felons to vote, which allow
ex-felons, and particularly when and if states changed their laws.  The
FEC web site details this information for the present, but I'd like to
know where to look for past elections.

Any suggestions?
