You may recall that the 2d Circuit recently issued a controversial opinion upholding Vermont's campaign spending limits; the opinion took the position that spending limits may be reconciled with the Supreme Court's holding in Buckley v. Valeo.

BNA is reporting that the Landell case has been withdrawn, pending the issuance of a new opinion.
