Dan Keating of the Washington Post presented a paper using the NORC
Florida Ballot Project data at last year's American Political Science
Association meetings. An electronic version of his paper ("Democracy
Counts: The Media Consortium Florida Ballot Review") is available from
the conference website:
http://apsaproceedings.cup.org/Site/papers/034/034009KeatingDan.pdf
There is another study that was also presented at that conference by
Woessner and Kelly-Woessner, "Raiders of the Lost Vote: The Racial
Dimensions of Disqualified Ballots":

I assume this website can be accessed by non-APSA members; if people
have trouble with it, let me know and I'll see if we can get permission
to put these papers on our website.
