Just goes to show, Who needs lawyers?  As you may recall, at the oral argument the two lawyers seeking affirmance included one who, moments after he began, was reprimanded by Rehnquist for literally reading his argument ... and his colleague, when asked by Stevens for his view of the Powell-Stevens opinion in Bandemer, said he hadn't read it.
