<x-flowed>We are preparing a supplement to the Eskridge, Frickey & Garrett casebook, Cases and Materials on Legislation:  Statutes and the Creation of Public Policy (West 2001).  It will arrive in plenty of time for you to review it before the fall semester and use it in your courses.  Among other things, the supplement will include Vieth v. Jubelirer, McConnell v. FEC, a discussion of the provisions of BCRA, a new class problem on the Speech or Debate Clause, updated information about the federal budget process, a note on the California recall, and several new cases on statutory interpretation including Circuit City v. Adams, Branch v. Smith, and US v. Mead (along with accompanying notes).

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, Bill Eskridge or Phil Frickey.  I am also happy to provide examples of my syllabi for professors using the casebook to teach courses on law and the political process, either in a semester or quarter system.
