Must read article by Vanity Fair contextualizes Bush v. Gore as it must --
within the context of the objective disenfranchisement of tens of thousands
of voters, a heavily disproportionate share of them African-American. This
sort of context has been lost by the vast majority of legal academics who
have weighed in on Bush v. Gore (itself a travesty discussed well, albeit
none too originally, herein) in a manner that is revelatory of the field's
weaknesses.
