Lyle Dennison is here.
Beldarblog is here.
I have written this
Jurisprudence analysis on Slate. I'll also be speaking on
Public Radio International's To
The Point today about "counting votes."
Dan Tokaji has the details here.
A snippet: "The Lucas County Democratic Party and Ohio Democratic Party
have filed a new federal lawsuit, challenging Secretary of State Ken
Blackwell's memorandum requiring the rejection of certain voter
registration forms. The case surrounds Blackwell's order that counties
not accept registration forms delivered in person, unless "Box 10" is
filled in. Box 10 requires voters to fill in either the last four
digits of their SSN, or their Drivers' License number." I have posted
the complaint here.
The Washington Post offers this
report, with the following subhead: "Since August, 527s Raised Six
Times as Much as Democrats."
The New York Times offers this
report. The company is Sinclair, but the risks are not of campaign
finance violations.
The New York Times offers this
front-page report.
