Panel declares tie in HD12 recount

POLSON - Lake County officials on Tuesday declared a tie between Democrat Jeanne Windham and Constitution Party candidate Rick Jore in the House District 12 race, and Windham immediately filed suit to block Jore's appointment to the seat by outgoing Republican Gov. Judy Martz. 

The recount itself took two days, after an insistent Windham demanded the Lake County Recount Board revisit Precinct 11, where recount tallies and actual ballots did not match after Monday's count.
