In 1966 in Delaware v New York, 385 U.S. 964 (1966) the Supreme Court
refused to hear a case of original jurisdiction where there was a
challenge to the winner take all sytem of allocating electoral votes by
states.  I  did a WESTLAW search and came up with nothing on the case. 
Does anyone have more information on the case?  Thanks.
