Can anyone steer me to any rulings in any state, on
the subject of the validity of a vote, if the voter
dies before the vote has been counted? This is
especially germane to states like Oregon, where a
large majority of votes are cast before election day.
In other words, if a voter (in an election in which
election day is in earlyh November) mails in his or
her ballot on October 24 of an election year, and dies
October 31, is the vote valid?
