A state superior court in Sacramento today ruled in
favor of Lou Correa, a Democrat running for State
Senate in Orange County. One of his opponents, a
state legislator, had sued the Secretary of State to
get Correa off the ballot. The law says 40 signatures
are required and no one may submit more than 60.
Correa submitted 101. Correa did have 40 valid, but
his opponent said Correa broke the law and should be
barred. But that didn't work.
