Contributors are Needed to write entries for The Encyclopedia of the
United States Constitution.
Facts On File, Inc. has asked me to serve as the editor for The
Encyclopedia of the United States Constitution and I am looking for
individuals to write entries for this project. There are a lot of
election law related entries upon which to write.
The Encyclopedia of the United States Constitution will be a two
volume reference book written primarily for the general public and
high school/college audiences. There will be approximately 800
entries, with entry ranging from 500 words or about two typed pages,
doubled-spaced, to about 1500 words.
This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to speak to students
and the general public and provide to them a clear statement regarding
our field. It is a great opportunity for lawyers, teachers, and even
some of your students to write some interesting essays for an
interesting project.
I would need to have your essays back by August 15, 2006. Thus, this
is a great quick summer project.
All entries must be delivered to me in a PC compatible format and your
rights to your submission must be signed over to Facts On File, Inc.
If you are interested in doing some essays (even if only one essay), I
can send you a partial headword list, style guidelines, and the basic
agreement for doing the essays. I am not doing a formal contract but
will work from the e-mails to reach agreement on what essays are
assigned to whom.
I will do my best to get back to you quickly.
Thank you!!!!
