In light of the ban referenced below and the threat of improper contributions, I'm wondering whether we should have a photo identification requirement for all financial contributions to candidate campaigns. In other words, no more online giving or giving by mail, and at any fundraiser a candidate would require that each contributor provide a photo identification establishing the contributor's nationality/status as one legally authorized to give money to the candidate.
