This is slightly off the topic of voter fraud. I recently say a
fascinating documentary about the reclaimed factory movement in Argentina
and was struck by one of the comments in the film. One of the organizers
at a reclaimed metalworks factory explained that they had frequent votes
about all sort of factory management issues. He said that it was important
to vote often so people learned to lose.

I am not suggesting that we have more frequent elections since I already
think our election system, as it is currently set up, distracts from good
governance. Nonetheless, I was struck by the simplicity of the idea that
voting often can produce people more willing to accept the results of
democratic decisions.
