A few days ago, I posted a message that a federal
court in Missouri had ruled that parties have an
implicit right to ban candidates from their own
primaries, based on the candidate's opinions. This
was not accurate. I hadn't read the opinion. I have
just read it. The case was dismissed on procedural
grounds. The candidate only sued the Secretary of
State; the judge said he should have also sued the
Democratic Party. He is a pro se litigant. Miller v
Carnahan, west. dist., 06-5032-cv.
