What Larry fails to credit is the frustration which voters feel when
they learn of the huge amounts of money which candidates take from
special interests and big business and there seems to be no
alternative that is any better. I address the argument that
disclosure alone will cure all campaign financing ills in the op-ed I
co-authored with Ted Williams which appeared in the San Jose Mercury
News on 6/5 (the day before the California primary):
