It's obviously a typo, but this line is sort of funny:

"Men and woman argued that we need to close the primaries-- so Democrats are unable to throw the race by voting for the less derisible Republican candidate."

I was always under the impression that running the least "derisible" candidates possible was a good thing, but I'm admittedly unfamiliar with the intricacies of Idaho politics.
