On a similar note, Georgia plaintiffs are appealing a state trial court ruling on mid-decade state senate redistricting to the GA Supreme Court, arguing that the state constitution bars such action.

Early on the plaintiffs in the Texas case argued that the midterm
redistricting violated the TX constitution. Of course the Supremes
could not address this issue.  DId I miss something or was the Texas
con law claim never addressed in a state court?
