<x-flowed>I just got back from Vancouver from the 2006 USENIX/ACCURATE
Electronic Voting Technology Workshop.  The amount of basic research
surrounding electronic voting technologies has really blossomed lately
and this event had papers presented on usability, policy and practice,
and technology.
