Although slightly off topic, I can't help but wonder if anyone else is struck by the irony that the Obama Administration is concerned about foreign financial influences in our elections while at the same time inviting 15 foreign nations to join an American federal lawsuit against the State of Arizona. I guess foreign nationals donating to a Arizona senate campaign, which would have a 1 of a 100 shot at actually influencing public policy is egregious, but a foreign national(s) suing Arizona to directly affect American domestic policy is OK.
However, if the issue is not influence, but transparent influence, then I see the difference--since we know which foreign countries are joining the lawsuit.
