I read with interest that speculation has been building about who might
replace Dan Schnur as Chairman of the California Fair Political Practices
Commission. Apparently Dan Lowenstein has taken himself out of the running.

Accordingly, I would like to announce my availability for appointment to the
position of Chair(man) of the California Fair Political Practices
Commission.
