Independent state legislators were elected last week in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Vermont.  Minor party state legislators were elected in Vermont and Maine.  We still don't know if Kathleen Curry, Colorado's independent state legislator, was re-elected on write-in votes.

I have not checked to be sure, but I believe this is the highest number of states in which voters have elected non-major party nominees to state legislatures since the end of World War II, and maybe substantially before that.
