I often find it fascinating to read the comments from the public to news articles, and I have to say that it warms my mid-western heart to see how pragmatic and reasonable the comments were to the request from the CBS Minn reporter for thoughts on showing a photo ID at the polls. Generally, comments on this topic quickly head into the tin-foil hat world. Perhaps this indicates that good schooling can produce better deliberation?
