Yeah, I suspect for early voting they use the same DRE they have in
the polling places for accessibility... the Sequoia (now Dominion) AVC
Edge II Plus (they're the only jurisdiction as far as I know that uses
this type of machine... this is an update to the Sequoia AVC Edge
product, widely deployed, that they implemented in Chicago when
Sequoia was owned by Smartmatic, a Venezuelan corp., which is why they
look remarkably similar to the DREs used in Venezuela).

While we don't know much about this model of DRE (it's never been
subject to an independent evaluation), I doubt it would be too tough
to program these machines quickly one way or the other (at the outside
case, it probably requires a worker to touch each DRE with a memory
stick/card with the updated ballot definition...).
