I don't know about others, but as I get the digest version of the list, it
would help me enormously if people would not include ALL the prior texts of
an email when they reply. I know one cannot always remember to do so. If
the prior text is needed, readers can easily find that if they get the list
via digest or not, and, of course, those posting can leave the text of the
email they respond to, or whatever is relevant to keeping things in place
and make their response clear. But getting a digest with ten emails each
containing the previous 9,8,7,6, etc. emails, and sometimes all of the
links from the list announcement of what is on the website are included as
well....it just makes it hard to read. For me at least. Just a
suggestion/plea. I don't know if others would find that helpful or
harmful.

(I actually don't know how non-digest subscribers keep up with all the
email they must get. Maybe what I should do involves some creative use of
gmail filters?)
