Laches seems like the better argument. The Democrats were aware of the
issue before the primary election and chosenot to raise it. Only after the
election did they choose to raise the issue, after it was too late to
replace the candidate.

Indiana also determines ballot order for the next couple of elections based
on votes for SoS by county. This decision would appear to guarantee
Democrats first place on ballot until next SoS election in EVERY county.

And again, White won in a landslide.
