[EL] on a personal note

As the changed email address suggests, I am leaving Cozen O'Connor after
seven years (with an appropriate mix of excitement and trepidation) to
become a solo practitioner, focusing on my work in the political law field
-- federal, state and local campaign finance, election, and lobbying
disclosure law;  pay-to-play, ethics, and the like. Obviously, being a part
of this community over the years has added greatly to my knowledge, and
many of you have set models for me as to what practice in this arena can
be. I certainly dove in at the deep end back in 2005, and many of you from
across the ideological spectrum have made swimming in this pool quite
enjoyable and fulfilling.

My new website is http://www.boninlaw.com – and it says a bit more about
what I’ll be doing.  [Query: what sorts of pictures *does* one put on an
election lawyer's website? "Action photos" are rare.]



Thanks to the strong support I’ve received here at Cozen, this transition
has been a smooth one, and I was happy to take the Firm up on its offer to
become a tenant to ensure that our work together on behalf of Firm clients
will continue smoothly.  At the same time, this move allows me to take on
new clients who because of business conflicts I was unable to represent as
part of a 550-attorney firm, so this is an exciting professional
opportunity.
