*Subject:* [EL] 4th circuit always takes a summer break?

I was startled this morning to be told by a person in the clerk's office in
the 4th circuit that the 4th circuit never hears oral arguments in the
summer. The 4th circuit won't start up (after June 2011) until September
20, 2011.

Is the 4th circuit the only circuit that imitates the US Supreme Court and
goes on summer break?
