[EL] question about presidential caucus rules

I have a question about presidential caucuses in 2012.  In the states in which voters register into parties on voter registration forms, and in which caucuses are used by the major parties for president, do the caucus attendees need to be registered members of the party whose caucus is being attended?

I assume in some states the answer is "yes" and in others it is "no".  I asked Josh Putnam but he hasn't responded.  Does anyone know?  The Green Papers people might know but I don't know how to ask them.
