Public Citizen invited Jack Abramoff to speak at our regular lecture series on corruption and lobby reform, and to my pleasure and surprise, he agreed. If you cannot attend in person, it will be live streaming.


Ex-Super-Lobbyist Jack Abramoff to Discuss What’s Wrong With Money in Politicsat Public Citizen

WHAT:           Public Citizen will host a discussion with Jack Abramoff*, the disgraced formerlobbyist who was convicted in 2006 on charges of fraud, corruption andconspiracy, most notably bilking millions of dollars from Native Americantribes who hired him to help obtain gambling rights. Since his release from prison in 2010, Abramoff has beenspeaking out against his former occupation, now characterizing the lucrativelobbying industry as a euphemism for legalized bribery.
