Justice Li's fantasy opinion states, "*Texas has one of the earliest
legislative and congressional primaries in the nation."

I must stand up for the honor of Alabama. Our Legislature decided that in
presidential-election years, it would make sense to have a combined
presidential primary and Congressional/state/local primary (we are electing
mainly judges this year). But they also wanted to be early in the
presidential primary process. So we will have a primary on March 13 --
nearly 8 months ahead of the general election.
*
Can anyone top that?
