Peter:

Disclosure of the host committee convention contracts is the only thing that is provided prior to the conventions. The sources of funds are not disclosed until well after the conventions, and if delayed properly, even after the presidential election.

The contracts are available at:

Subject: [EL] Contracts between Host Committee and the National Parties

In a conversation with a former colleague he mentioned that the Host
ommittees and Parties had to file a copy of their Contract and
ubsequent amendments. The FEC has the contracts for 2008 up on their
ite, but does not have 2012 up. This is not an area I know a lot
bout and I was wondering if someone could clarify if:
1) If disclosure of the contracts had to happen before the convention.
) If so where is it specified?
Thank you!
Yours,
eter
