Actually, the SpeechNow decision says the holding in Citizens United permitted no other result--so they have two  parents......

This shows a continuation of that the trends I discussed in my Slate piece, "The Numbers Don't Lie: If you aren't sure Citizens United gave rise to the Super PACs, just follow the money<http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2012/03/the_supreme_court_s_citizens_united_decision_has_led_to_an_explosion_of_campaign_spending_.html>,  I used the same data from the Center for Responsive Politics.

The data are important in showing the indirect effects of the Citizens United ruling and subsequent court and FEC decisions.
