The conventional wisdom about the results of the election is now hardened
(or hardening) and numbers are being crunched such as those for California
races below, and yet nearly a week out from the conclusion of the election,
*California alone has* *over 3.334 MILLION ballots left to count*, per the
official reporting of the California Secretary of State. See
