Here at the Center for Public Integrity, we did a joint analysis with the
Center for Responsive Politics that focused strictly on donors to super
PACs. We found that companies had contributed about $75 million to super PACs
from their treasuries, while unions contributed about $60 million, through
Oct. 17th. Overall, super PACs collectively raised about $660 million
through that date.
That investigation can be found here:

Seconding what Rick said, both the Center for Responsive Politics and
Sunlight Foundation would be good places to look for more detailed numbers.
