          A comment:
          This latest from the guy who made so many self-destructive goofs is yet another.  We've had clear losers before, but it's hard to think of any match for self-destroying.  (Well, in a way:  Gary Hart?)  No argument about Romney's first debate performance, a step in right direction.  But the steps in wrong direction --"let us count the ways".
